Sightseeing in Gangnam: CAFÉ Edition😚

This time, let's take a look at some cafes in Gangnam area :)

Korea is full of beautiful, unique cafes. Now that you're full,

let's go take a short walk and go to a cafe to relax and have some meaningless(ful) conversation. 👍

My co-workers and I collaborated this time to share with our blog viewers.

We each chose one cafe we've visited that's located near our hospital to recommend. 💓

#1 Holly's

This cafe is actually a chain and you can see them all over the country.

One of our employees recommended Holly's because this Holly's is open 24 HOURS and their seats are super comfy.

 The tables have nice distance between unlike some chain cafes in Korea, so it's perfect for chilling and studying as well. 

Holly's isn't considered to be one of the cheapest cafes in Korea, as the price ranges from 4,000 won to 6,000 KRW, but I would recommend Holly's located in front of Sinnonhyeon Station for sure.

Holly's is located about 1 minute away from exit 3 of Sinnonhyeon Station and about 2 minutes away from NANA Hospital as well. Extremely close and very spacious! There's also smoking area in this cafe, so if you're a smoker, this is the cafe for you.

#2 Sikmulhak

Sikmulhak is a environmental friendly, green themed cafe, where you can enjoyed freshly brewed coffee and tea made by baristas dressed in white, doctor gowns. If you're into that 'fresh' and 'clean' sort of vibe, I would definitely recommend Sikmulhak. However, this cafe is not located next to the hospital like Holly's. You have to go to Garosoogil, which is a famous street located near Sinsa Station in Korea. You can enjoy shopping, good(but pricey) food, and many cafes near this area.  Good news though, is that this cafe is located not too far from Sinnonhyeon and Gangnam Station. You just have to take a bus and you'll get there in about 20 minutes. 

The price range is also similar to Holly's ranging between 4,300 KRW to 6,500 KRW. 

If you're thinking, "I'm tired of all these similar looking cafes," this is the place for you.

#3 Roof 808

Maybe you don't want to go too far, but you don't want to go to the same old looking cafes around Gangnam area. Then you should definitely check out Roof 808. Here, you can enjoy the scenery from 16 stories high, and you can also enjoy some fresh, hearty salad, sandwiches, and more. During the day, you it's a cafe, at night, the whole atmosphere changes and you can enjoy many alcoholic beverages and get in the mood! 😏
