BEST Autumn TOURIST SPOT in KOREA | Danyang BEST places to visit!

It’s gotten so chilly in Korea. Winter is on its way!
But, we are still considering the season Autumn and so I have brought some information about one of the best tourists attraction in Korea during Autumn: Danyang.🍂🍁
Dodamsambong Peaks
The first place in Danyang I want to recommend is called
Dodamsangong🌊🌊
As you can see, 3 rock formations are rising out the river which is quite peculiar at the same time beautiful and harmonized with the river showing an outstanding view. It’s very peaceful and tranquil. You can see cruise ships and motorboats. If you want to take a ride you can pay 10,000 KRW per person and enjoy 10 minutes of satisfying speed in the boat.
The Mancheonha skywalk is also Danyang’s landmark where you will feel thrilled and scared standing on top of the cliff. When you are on top of the cliff you will see the whole view of the Danyang landscape with the river flowing peacefully.
The skywalk is spread in three directions. The river flow and Danyang’s mountain together make a great picture. It’s a beautiful landscape, especially in the autumn.
To get to the top, you need to walk quite a while (about 20 minutes) in a zigzagged and round skywalk. But it’s worth the walk as you can see the fantastic views while getting to the destination.
Suyanggae Light Tunnel
Suyanggae Light Tunnel is mainly divided into 2 parts: the light tunnel and the secret garden.
The light tunnel is a 200m railroad tunnel that wasn’t in
use from 1984. There are mirror walls in each part with flower and
galaxy-shaped LED lights. You will be able to see 6 different parts with mirror
walls that have different contents. Along with the LED lights, the laser and
the sound effect make a dreamy mood. It feels like being in a fantasy movie
with a variety of LED lights.
When you get out of the light tunnel you find a path
through a forest that leads you to the secret garden. The secret garden is a
feast of illumination flowers. There are tulips and roses in LED lights. You
will also see sculptures of people in the Paleolithic Era placed in the middle
of all the LED flowers.

Finally, time for some Mukbang! There is a variety
In Danyang, one of the popular dishes is chicken. You can
enjoy either the fried or marinated one. Personally, I prefer marinated chicken
which has both a sweet and spicy taste. The chicken you will see in the market
will be in small pieces without bones. It’s easier for you to enjoy with
chopsticks.
The other dish I can recommend is the Garlic Mandu.
Danyang is the perfect place to taste dishes using garlic as it is a local
specialty. Usually, many people are standing in a line waiting for their turn
to order. It is THAT much famous in Danyang, you can’t leave Danyang without
trying the garlic mandu. There are three types of mandu, which are shrimp,
tteokgalbi (rice cake with grilled Korean short-rib), and Kimchi. It would be
best if you try all three types of Mandu. But you have to go early or else you
might not be able to eat them!
There are other dishes such as sundae (a type of sausage), garlic bread with cream cheese, and more.
