But soon to be spring, waiting for the Sun to come back to us. Are you guys having a warm holiday? If not to give you the warming news let’s check out our hottest summer vacation spot in Korea!
First, if you guys are looking forward to beach activities this may be a smaller beachside but has a separate beach ball area, tanning area, walking trail, and surfing area! Very convenient for those who like to plan activities! 😎The beach is located 10~15min walk from the train and bus station (Very accessible!).
The most important part of the trip, our Hotel!
I have two recommendations for everyone. The Bay Club Hotel and Hotel1. There are many great hotels by the beach. But have you seen hotels with Hinoki bath spa (Scented Wooden Spa) in your hotel rooms? The Bay Club Hotel has Rooms with Specially Scented outer Spa where you can enjoy your friends and family time even in Hotels. They have different rooms with ocean views and a Hinoki bath balcony. Though they are a type of hotel, they have a built-in Kitchen and many selections of amenities. This is a great hotel choice for those who want special beach experiences from Spring to Fall! <Especially closer to Spring and Fall>
Hotel1 is great for our newlyweds or our happy couples! They have many different floors with different themed rooms but our highest recommendations are the Romantic suite or the Premium suite. These rooms give you two choices mountain view or Ocean view. The whole hotel is themed with white marble. The next best part of the hotel is the windows size of the room. For our Single friends fear not! They also have a cool capsule hotel to experience. (P.S. Also has Ocean View!) But Capsule hotel also fits up to a maximum of four people so those of you who wish a cool night stay with friends and family go for it!
Now that we have covered places to stay. We must talk of food! Gwanganli Beach has many many foodie places. But can you say no to Infamous Tabasco Hot Wings and beer? Portana Pizza place has great pizza and Chicken wings! Their pizza dough is specially made with potatoes and layers of cheese. Being a spicy addict, their Tabasco and Sriracha sauce on the side was like finally finding my food soulmate. Not only the pizza, the beer, the sauce are great but their Tabasco Wings were like Holy piece of bite. They also have balconies to eat while watching views of Gwanganli beach. Last great news for our Puppy friends we got delicious milk & pies! 😎
For those who are seeking vegetarian options or just simple brunch options check out Wonder Cafeteria. They have a Vintage-styled interior with delicious brunch & salad with wonderful views of the beach. Their plating & the beach view are insta-must-picture spots!
Last but not least we have the Sashimi Park, Minrak Waterside Park. Minrak Park has a huge Seafood Market where you can buy freshly cut take-out sashimi! Besides the seafood market, there are other restaurants with various street foods for those of you who can’t eat raw seas food as well. But With the take-out sashimi and food of your choice, you can seat by the park located right in front of the beach. If you have extra clothes or a picnic mat take it for a more comfortable stay. Since this is also a park there’s a small walking trail where you can take lots of photos. For our families with babies, they have a special playground area for children!
