Facial liposuction is designed for the permanent removal of fatty tissue from face areas such as cheeks, chin and jawline. Liposuction procedure combined with lifting can give a patient slimmer and youthful appearance by reducing areas of fullness to slenderize the face.
Patients with good skin tone who have fatty deposits receive the best results from facial liposuction alone. However, a patient who has skin with less elasticity may not achieve the same results as a patient with tighter skin because of sagging. In this case, combining facial liposuction with thread lifting is recommended because you can get slim face with tighter skin at once.
What type of anesthetics is used for the procedure?
The CC of fat executed for facial liposuction is not as much as body liposuction, and thus local anesthesia (IV sedation) is used to perform the surgery. NANA Hospital has in-house anesthesiologist as we always try to put our patients' safety at first!

Post-op Cautions to Remember🙋
✦ It is possible to wash your
face 48 hours after surgery. Avoid touching the incision area while washing your face.
✦ 1 – 3 days after surgery ▶ do "ice pack" to help with de-swelling.
✦ From 4 days after surgery ▶ do "warm compress" to help remove bruises and swelling.
✦ Stitches
are removed on 7th day post-op.
✦ Swelling &
bruising fades away gradually afterwards. It takes a full month to look
slimmer. Minor swelling can persist up to 3+/- months.
✦ You must keep the facial
compression band on for 24 hrs a day for 3 days to avoid sagging, swelling and lumping. Then for about 2 weeks, wear
the band in interval for 2-3 hours about 1-3 times a day if you feel you wish
to press down the swelling on your face.
✦ Avoid
drinking alcohol, smoking, and hot bath, sauna, or swimming pool for 1 month post-op.
