Fox eye surgery has enjoyed a huge resurgence recently, thanks to celebrities, models, and influencers on social media platforms. 

    

Also known as cat-eye surgery, this look is achieved when the eyebrows are angled upwards, giving a more lifted appearance to the eyes. 

As we age, our eyebrows can droop, so the fox eye lift can open up the face and restore a youthful appearance in the eye area. 

An increasingly popular, non-invasive way of achieving the fox eye look is using a thread lift, which can be done in as little as 30 minutes. A local anesthetic is applied and PDO threads are inserted using a needle to lift the outside corner of the eyebrow. The downtime is also minimal with mild swelling and bruising for up to two weeks. This option can last anywhere from six months up to a year, depending on the individual patient. Further treatments will be required in order to maintain the result.

Foxy eye surgery is lifting the corner eyes like the left side photo 

This patient wanted to do this surgery because she wanted to look more feminine and softer. She has a big double eyelid, but she lacks the strength to open her eyes which makes her look tired. 

The doctor will decrease the crease line with ptosis correction, which will help with opening her eyes more.  

Also, as her upper eyes are sunken, the Doctor will graft fat over there, so that there is more volume which will give more defined eyes. 

By lifting the corner of her eyes through the thread lift, the Doctor will perform the foxy eye surgery. The patient wanted also longer eyes so the Doctor will make them longer and lift the sagging eyes to get a foxy eye. The Doctor won't pull it too much and make her eyes natural. 

The issue with her eyes is that the eyelids are sunken, which after the surgery will get better and more natural.   

60 days POST-OP: 

As you can see, now she has foxy eyes!
