What does it do?

Fat grafting is pulling fats from other parts of your body, like your abdomen or thighs for example, and repositioning them to areas where you believe that fat is lacking. This can help build volume in areas that you feel are too sunken or too thin. This would be a less invasive method than using implants, as the fats are already part of your body, it is just being placed in a different part of your body.

So where are the possible areas that you can do fat grafting on? There are many areas however today we will be going through the most common areas where fat can be grafted to your face.

Forehead

A lack of fat around the forehead area can make your forehead look sunken, as compared to the rest of your face. Placing fat on your forehead will be able to build volume and make it more proportionate to the rest of your face.

Smile Line

The lines connecting your nostrils to the corners of your lips are called smile lines (Nasolabial folds). Repositioning fats to these areas will help with the wrinkles around there to give a fuller look.

Undereye Bags

You might notice the line under your eyes, also known as eyebags. If you would like to elimate them, one way to do so, would be fat grafting. By placing fat around that area, you will be able to fill up the 'gaps' found between your eyes and the eyebags, reducing the eyebags around your eyes.

Breast

If you feel uncomfortable with using breast implants to increase your breast sizing, another way would be fat grafting to the breast. Granted, it will not be as huge as if you use an implant, but it will bring you up around half a cup size.

 Cheek

In order to have a proportionate look, your cheeks should be filled with fat. This gives the impression of a fuller face. If you feel like your cheeks are sunken, it might be due to the fact that there aren't much fat around that area. You could have fat grafted to your cheeks to fill up the gaps to create a fuller face.

Because it is fat, there is a chance of your face going back to normal, as fat dissolves and reappears based on your lifestyle. It isn't a 100% permanent effect, however if you feel the need to have another surgery, you can definitely have it done again~

That's all for today! Hope this was helpful and we'll see you next time~

Regards,

NANA
