South Korea's monsoon season 🌧️

"Rain, rain go away, come again another day"

 

Did you know about the monsoon season in South Korea?

It usually starts mid-June and ends around early August. On these rainy days, umbrella or not, your clothes will not be safe from the rain! The rain falls heavily and can even create floods!

Maybe you've seen the picture of a man on sitting on his car in the middle of water, in Gangnam!

Here are some tips for these rainy days!


1. Nowadays rain boots are very popular! Especially those from the brand 'Hunter'! But CROCS are also a good choice~ 

Rain boots lets you keep your feet dry while crocs let your feet dry after being wet.

2. Say bye to pants and hello to shorts and skirts!

Because of the heavy rain, the lower part of you pants (or sometimes even until your knees) will be wet! be careful of the large poodles of water~

No worries you can run to the nearest convenience store or Daiso to find an umbrella~ And for a cheap price! Very often when you live in South Korea, you end up with many umbrellas at home.

4. If you can, stay home or do some indoor activities!

Rather than fighting the rain, let's avoid it altogether! You can stay and play at home, go to the movies, or to a museum!
