How is the surgery performed?

By moving the hairline downward, the result is a smaller forehead and a smaller face as a whole. Also, thanks to this technique, no need to wait for your hair to grow back.

Before surgery, the surgeon will precisely design the incision area and hairline. During the surgery an incision is made at the hairline, and the skin is pulled upward. It is fixed with endotine and the incision is closed with a triple stitching method to make sure the wound doesn't reopen.

What about the swelling?

Forehead Reduction doesn't cause much swelling compared to other types of surgeries. It may last 1~2 weeks. The scars will be visible for around a month after surgery but will gradually fade in 3~6 months. It is possible to cover them up with bangs in the first few months.
