What is Dual Plane? NANA's preferred breast implants placement method!

Today we are talking about the Dual Plane placement method. How does Dual Plane differ from Over and Under the Muscle methods?
First, let's explain what is Under and Over the Muscle.
Over the Muscle
However, the implant has more chances to ripple or fold if this technique is used on a patient with little breast tissue.
Under the muscle
Under the Muscle means that the implant is placed below the pectoralis muscle. It is recommended for patients who have little breast tissue, as the muscle will both cover and hold the implants for a natural result.
However, it is not recommended for athletes who exercise their pectoralis muscles often, as it can lead to the displacement of the implants and to those whose sagging sits below the pectoralis muscle.
Dual Plane and Dual Plane Plus
With Dual Plane, the upper half of the implant is covered by the pectoralis muscle, and the lower half is covered by the breast tissue, creating an internal lift effect. Dual Plane offers the most natural look by letting the implant rest in a natural position, recreating the shape of natural breasts.
Dual Plane Plus is an improvement of Dual Plane developed by NANA's Chief Surgeon Hwang Dong Yeon. Dual Plane Plus method places the top part
under the pectoralis muscle and covers the bottom part with fascia which makes
the implant covered twice (by sub-fascia and sub-glandular layers), improving
the feeling of the breast. It was designed to be suitable for Asian body types. It is a method exclusive to NANA Plastic Surgery listed in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons' Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal!
